If your looking a honest mechanic shop this is the place. Very polite and honest from the mechanic to the front desk. They explain in detail about the problem(s) and give you reasonable solution/prices.

I came for a diagnostic. They took me right away even with 2 other people waiting. They finished up shortly after I arrived. I got my vehicle back 15-20 minutes after arriving. The diagnostic was free. They quoted me a price. I asked if I could supply the parts and basically pay them for the labor. They said they don't do that which is why I gave them 4 stars. Service was good. I would have definitely gotten my car fixed here if I could have bought the part myself. Oh, well.

Complete peace of mind!!! Very fair with prices, quality of work, and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place over any other shop in the area. Both Erick and Steve treat you with integrity, respect, and love as if you were family. You could rest assured that bringing your vehicle here will be taken care of to the fullest extent. I will be returning for sure with all my vehicles. UPDATE: I had to bring back my vehicle as the part I had replaced started to prematurely make noise so I brought it back to the auto repair shop and they replaced it within warranty. No questions asked and hassle free experience. I was in and out quickly.

I decided to patronize West Houston Auto Repair after reading and comparing reviews. One reviewer mentioned that the business owner was trying to do the right thing/be a good business person. So, after seeing for myself, I agree. The establishment (inside and outside) was bright, clean and welcoming for an auto repair shop. I was greeted warmly and after chatting about the issues, my vehicle was promptly taken to the back. After about 10 minutes, the issue was confirmed and explained thoroughly. I'd already done pricing research prior to, and I felt that the price quoted to me was accurate and fair. I was NOT up-sold on any service and was shuttled home (complimentary) by another very kind gentleman. The service was completed within a few hours and the shuttle picked me up. It's been almost a week and I've experienced zero problems. I appreciate the stellar customer service by all three gentlemen I spoke to that day, the time and cost efficiency and, so far, the work that was done. I have found my go-to auto repair shop!
