They are not intended to be a standalone loss-leader service for people who choose to have all their real work done elsewhere. You’ve made it clear that you prefer another shop and regularly use them for your major services. That’s completely fine — and they should absolutely continue to handle your oil changes as well. It wouldn’t be fair to our loyal customers, or sustainable for our business, to dedicate appointment slots and technician time to a vehicle that never supports our shop beyond a basic oil change.
